GUN SAFETY

The leading cause of death for Texas children is gunshot wounds. The number of these deaths has more than doubled during the past decade. To mitigate this trend, legislation is needed to require a background check for every gun sale and to raise the age to purchase an assault weapon from 18 to 21.
